Welcome!

I’m Tim and currently work between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks as a scenic and safari tour guide; also a nature & wildlife photographer. If there was ever a lifestyle that allowed one to be as in-touch with nature at it’s most raw, this is it!

My fascination wildlife has always driven my interests, but in my former lives with the U.S. Army and all of the traveling I’ve done as a civilian, keeping animals just wasn’t in the cards. I finally planted roots and developed an interest in aquariums, of which I kept several salt and freshwater for years keeping species like eels, corals, stingrays, octopus, seahorse, lionfish, and any number of other species.

Reptiles peaked my interest and I had raised several species, then I ran across a job caring for several hundred adult reticulated pythons in a breeding facility and jumped on the chance. Although the conditions and ownership was terrible, I poured everything I had into caring for the animals and mastered my handling skills on snakes up to 22ft long pushing 200 lbs., both socialized and wild caught.

Later I determined I wanted to do something positive with my reptile experience and began a YouTube channel discussing reading snake behavior, care and handling techniques to help other keepers and animals to have better experiences together.

Through several years of producing videos and content creation, and buying camera equipment, I found myself drawn to wildlife photography and capturing these animals in the wild in their natural habitats. I began with the toughest genre I could think of; bird in flight photography and I’ve had the photography bug ever since.

The rest, as they say, is history! I’m out here in one of the most unique and beautiful places on the planet nearly every day. Not only do I get to experience a vast variety of wildlife and settings, but I get to continue the educational spirit of my reptile work by sharing my knowledge of the park and the experiences with the animals with visitors every week!

If you are planning or wish to plan a trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton and would like a guided tour with the company I guide for, shoot me an e-mail and we can make it happen!
